Welcome to the wonderful world of Bible Quiz Ministry. What a great opportunity to draw closer to Christ, make an impact in other lives with scriptural knowledge, and to meet and to make many new friends. This ministry is summed up in Philippians 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. QUIZ in the Penn-Del District consists of Junior
Bible Quiz for grades 3-5 and Teen
Bible Quiz - Novice, A and B leagues. Bible
Quiz is an exciting way to encourage children and teens to memorize
God's Word. Each year the Teen Bible Quizzers memorize a book (or
2 or 3) of the Bible and then they pit their skills against teams at
other Assembly of God churches in their area and all across the
country. Junior Bible Quizzers memorize a set of questions and
answers covering various topics from the Old and New Testament.
Both groups have 3-4 league Meets through-out the year with various
number of matches - depending on the number of teams involved -
where they answer 20 questions
per match. The questions vary in difficulty with a point value of
10, 20 and 30 each. Teams can advance onto District Regional, and
National Finals Finals. They can also participate in various
tournaments throughout the year. The quizzers can win
certificates and trophies by studying and memorizing complete books of
the Bible, but the biggest
treasure is that they are hiding God's Word in their heart!
