We believe the discipleship strategy called, "Learning to Live the L.I.F.E." can renew a vision for Sunday School.
L.I.F.E. is an acronym outlining the mission of Sunday School L--learning together I--including all who come F--finding others who need to know E--emerging for ministry Learning together The small group format of Sunday School allows people of all ages to study the Bible at their own level of understanding. Including all who come As Sunday School students search the Bible together, pray for one another, and hear each other's faith stories, they become "a spiritual family." Finding others who need to know Students who discuss the Bible together and listen to one another's personal Christian experiences gain confidence to tell others about Jesus. Emerging for ministry According to Ephesians 4, teachers prepare God's people for works of service. With over 1 million in Sunday School each week, there is great potential for ministry. |
